These tools also feature the ability to convert the entire blueprint mesh hierarchy into standard Static Mesh Actors in the level, retaining their attachment hierarchy, local transforms, and custom-assigned materials.

“What are the Mesh Assembler Blueprints for?”
Mesh Assembler and the Merge Actors Tool
For this pack, we decided it would be helpful to include a series of blueprints to help you quickly place and customize prefabricated electrical boxes and panels from the kit.
Blueprint tools in Content Browser
All Boxes, Panels, and the Conduit tool inherit from the Mesh Assembler blueprint class. The Mesh Assembler drives the Material Map feature, which allows you to customize the materials assigned to each unique slot ID on the meshes created by the tools.
Another feature of the Mesh Assembler tool is the ability to Convert to Mesh Group, which allows you to turn the Blueprint actor into a group of Static Mesh Actors in the level, retaining all of their original mesh component attachments and relative transforms from the Blueprint component hierarchy. Converting to Mesh Group also retains any overridden materials from the Material Map, transferring them to the new clones. The original Mesh Assembler actor is also kept during conversion, making it non-destructive.
